We will begin by giving a brief explanation of what "Climate Change" is an climate change is the global variation in the Earth's climate due to natural causes, but mainly to human action, which results in the burning of fossil fuels, loss of forests and other activities produced in the industrial, agricultural and transportation fields, among others, as a consequence of a retention of the Sun's heat in the atmosphere, and this will cause our planet to collapse.
I will do my best to not contaminate our planet so much, I will not longer make purchases with excess bags and I will plant trees to generate a little oxygen
Causes
- Greenhouse gases: trap heat in the atmosphere, fueling climate change.
- Fertilizer use: Excess fertilizer where plants are not able to process it and remains in the soil and emissions increase exponentially.
- Waste generation: one of the 3 main methane emitters, causing 20% of emissions worldwide.
- Tree felling: causes 17% of the world's carbon emissions, which is almost equivalent to the amount of CO2 generated by global transportation.
Consequences
- Temperature increase
- Pole deicing
- Species extinction
- Food crisis
- Depletion of the ozone layer
- CO2 increase
- Decreases the quality of Oxygen
- Excess of chemical elements in agriculture.
- Rising sea levels
- Heat waves
What will I do to reduce climate change?
- I will save energy at home
- I will use a bicycle instead of public transport
- I will eat more vegetables
- I will not throw food
- I will reduce and recycle items that generate carbon emissions
- If I need a car, I will buy an electric car since they cause lower greenhouse gas emissions.
- I will respect the animals' space
- I will not throw garbage in the street, sea, ocean or river
- I will plant trees
- I will not cut down trees
- I will consume more local products
Let's face it, climate change is caused by us humans, due to greenhouse gases, all of this is already killing the planet, people, nature and damaging food production, as well as reducing economic growth .
